I loved THE BIG SICK. I might have more to say later, but for now this:
The characters all feel like real people. It is wonderfully cast. I cared what happened to these people. I laughed. I got the feels. It’s based on a true story but still has nice character and plot arcs (I really like when that happens).
In photos at the end, and in the Arclight Stories short documentary afterward, we see the real Emily, and you can tell within a few seconds that she is f#@king awesome!
I highly recommend it.
